Creation of an online store through which users can apply for a youth card, accommodation or hostels at the Instituto de Juventud del Levante.
The initial challenge was to address the complexity and lack of intuitiveness of the current IVAJ website, which presented an overwhelming interface, composed mainly of text and links.
In addition, it required the creation of an online shop integrating three sub-shops, each offering a different service: accommodation, hostels and youth card. The aim was to create an easier and more intuitive user experience for young people, providing quick and easy access to the services offered by IVAJ.
To address this challenge, we developed a clear and logical navigation structure that divided the shop into three main sections: Accommodation, Hostels and Carnet Joven. Each section would have its own set of products and services, making it easy for users to search and select. We then moved on to the creation of wireframes, simple diagrams outlining the layout and basic functionality of each page of the shop. These wireframes allowed us to visualise the information architecture and validate it with users before moving on to the visual design.
With user feedback, we refined the wireframes and moved on to the design of high-fidelity prototypes.
After creating the wireframes, I design an online store (with three sub-shops offering a service in each of them) visual and simple, easy to use for young people. What do you think?
